From what I have read, without using spyglass, the chances are probably not possible at all. I have used 5 so far on Wabbitgirl and only need 3 more snow globes to complete it. Do I have a chance? No idea....but I had the spyglasses in the warehouse so figured I would give them a try. It is not important enough for me to buy the Winter's Tale chest to have a chance of getting the right items.
I have used 2 spyglass on Wabbitgirl2, only so I could get the 60 shovels when visiting to help with the warming drinks to keep my planes flying.....not that this has helped any....
At one time we could all complete these events without using any bonuses, just patience, but now they want you to spend greenies and since most people will, they get their wish....so continue to make them hard.
Good luck anyway and maybe they will bring it back next year and we will all have another chance of "chasing shadows".

Maybe you already know this but I've just discovered that when the plane is ready to speed (under the chevron) in the flight list you may double speed it by quickly hitting 'speed up' button twice. This operation uses up two fuel catalysts.

For event "I have completed the event in14/21 days"
Bonus like spyglass really works when we collect showels from neighbours.
Also I collecte items from stone castle and flying to destinations to complete spyglass collation.
No need to spend real momey.
I spend real money "Yes" but only to purchase planetarium.
My bad luck as I got 1 planetaurium out of 10 buildings purchased.
My strategy in this event was fly turbopops when the event started, cause initially it required minimum fuel.
As day passes they increase the fuel requirement.
So I flew other planes minimum for 1 or 2 stars.
And while collecting Globe I be patient all the times
Collected them slowly, randomly and in middle of collecting other passengers and coins.
One of my friends calculated that stone castle reduce the outcomes of snow melting facilities.

I also have a question. I'm building another rocket garden, and when I started it gave me the option to watch a video to finish it. I tried to watch the video, but it just froze my game. The glimpse I got of the advertised game showed a crashed plane on the ground. Does anyone know what this game is?
