**********Life After Update**********

I'm not surprised with G! but this time they out did themselves with this update. I can say lots of more negative things about G! but I rather speak about the good things like:

Old neighbors still Swapping and visiting me:
(BGum, CH, GASBS)

For those (like Myself) who made the mistake to update their game and are not able to restore to the previous version (like myself) I'm glad to tell you we can visit, swap and launch together. I received a gift from an iOS player who I know updated by mistake but she was able to restore to the previous version. So as long as you update we can interact Now.

For those that have decided not to update or restored to previous version, we will not have a way to interact (At All) until the next update comes out at least.

Hi all,

I literally spent all day today at funeral/memorial services and related activities for my FIL, and was looking forward at 1:00 am to finally getting a little AC time. Come to find out all three of my games (mine and my sons') have updated and they're really screwed up.

I know I have lost WabbitGirl and WG2 as a neighbor on all three accounts. I don't know who else I may have lost at this point. But I would like anyone back.

Also, I had very few incoming gifts on any game, and on each game as soon as I sent back one gift, all my other gifts disappeared. So that is why no one is receiving anything from me tonight.

Finally, I also seem to be having trouble with fuel.

Anyway, I'd love to know if anyone else is having these problems. Also, if you used to be neighbors with any of these games:

and now you aren't, we'd love to have you back. I'm sorry, but since we're still with my mother-in-law trying to get lots of stuff done for her, I really don't have to time to examine who is missing from each of my neighbor groups. On the other hand, maybe we should wait until the game gets fixed?

Hi everyone,

Please don´t update your game – is absolutely disastrous
I did it a couple of hours ago and:
- I was in a space mission that has lift off 23h ago, were I could take the 1st place, and with just one hour to land back, and this mission simply disappear;
- I had 499 game friends, and after the update it turned to 556 but most of my most important neighbors simply disappear from my list;
- I was in 3rd place in the general list of the flights to Dakar with 19 flights, and after the update turn into just 8 flights;
- All the gifts that I had to send back simply disappear;
And I just look into those four points. I guess if I look a bit deeper the bugs would be much more.

It is impossible that G! has tested this updated. Alternatively, I guess they left definitely the game on the hands of junior trainee.
If I put this together with the messages of “time travel” that I´m receiving almost all week, I took the decision that this is the end of the line for me.
It´s being four years in a row playing AC every single day but I can´t support anymore the incompetence of G!. – Is too much.

For all of you that have helped me with your daily gifts, tips and enthusiasm, thank you so much. This is an amazing community and I hope you can continue playing with the same enthusiasm and helping each other.

And very, very, very especial thank you to Wabbitgirl.

I will continue receiving all your PM, if is the case.

Hello ;
A few tips about the update
- First i haven't updated my ipad yet.
- Before the update it is better not to be in a launch, and do a backup !
- @New frog : I have just seen that in Top 100 in DAKAR you are at 4th place with 21 flights.
- After the update, you can only see the neighbours who have already updated the game ; the others will come as soon as they update their game.
- The players who are not playing for a week or having the previous version will be displayed as 'sleeping'. It's quite normal. (dixit GI)
- yes it seems there is a pb with the gifts ...
- Hope a new update soon ...

FYI: I have not updated any of my games yet so gifts may or may not be getting to everyone I send to. I have been receiving very few gifts lately and mostly from IOS neighbours but that is probably going to stop now that some of you have updated.

I am sorry to hear my good neighbour New Frog has quit the game but I can certainly see why. It is bad enough dealing with the buggy game but having to deal with the time traveler message is even more frustrating.

Agreed! JG1-75 has been shut down for "violations", yet they cannot tell me what they are so do not bother sending anything there. I tried sending gifts out from Gilli-2 last night, but have not received any gifts since the downgrade of the game (I cannot bring myself to use the word update). Sounds like the same issue Trog is having.

FYI: From what I have read, when everyone updates their game, your neighbours that have been lost will now appear once again so let's wait and see what happens.

Also, apparently with the new update, we can now add neighbours we had previously deleted, so again, all should work out eventually.

I still have not updated any of my games and won't until I see problems have been fixed, so in the meantime, my gifting is so quick now I have time for other fun things......like Candy Crush....

Hang in there, we have this problem just about every time G! does a major change to the game. Sometimes for the better and other times......well.....time will tell.

Normally they respond fairly timeously. I still can't play my game on my old tablet, they say that the new update has higher resource requirements, but they have not told me what as yet. I installed the game on another device and am waiting for them to restore my old game, but I have not heard back from them in over a week

You can delete JG1-75. I'm not arguing with Great Ineptness on that one any longer.

I still have you listed on Gilli-2 and do not see a request from you yet. I will check back later today to see if it is added.

For those with more experience then me, do I need to delete PG before I will the request come through?

Haven't been on the forum for a while, wondered why some of my neighbours had disappeared - need to switch off my automatic updates!

If anyone can see me, I'm trying to gift every day - just sent everyone on the thread that I can gifts or neighbour requests.

I'm our of Catering, so that's my only request at the mo!

A small benefit of the update seems to be that the time limit on codes has gone - I'd missed a couple this month and just racked up 9 greenies & a gift set ....every cloud, hey?!
