Wow, that is now 3 of us IOS users who had gifts not reset. This has never happened to any of my games before. I even tried a restore from my morning backup and it didn't help.

Still keeping fingers crossed Bullwinkle resets tonight so I can get back to normal gifting. I have a routine and this really messed things up for me.

the reset time of gift is GMT + your census time
for me it is GMT+5:30
so when it reset at 5:31 am I wait and leave the game for 5 minutes
and visit Madele airborn to save my game
game will definitely save when you visit madelen airborn
so after that you can exit
and you won't loose visiting and gifting for the day

same thing applied for anything thing new you achieve in game

Yep, Troglodyte2 is on ipad2, I'm getting the same problems as you. You wouldn't believe the amount of stuff I've lost due to crashes. I try to do one or two things and then reboot but I still get caught out and lose something else.

Thanks for the info Dipal, however, one of my main problems is with visiting. I crash a lot when I visit a neighbour so haven't been able to use this technique. If I am lucky, I can get a few things done in the game and then I leave the game and restart it. This usually helps save my progress but so often it crashes before I get a chance to do this and then lose all my progress during that session.

Thankfully these are only support games and I don't really care about their progress. I use them mainly for gifting and launching to help my other games.

Just in case some of you are not aware of this, you can watch a video more than once to complete a building. If you were like me, I would wait until I only had 1 item left and watch the video for that item. Now you can watch up to 5 videos a day, either for getting fuel/passengers or items for your buildings.

After watching the first video, wait a few minutes and go back to that building and you can watch a video again. I have done this numerous of times and it works so give it a try.

Videos will reset once per day, usually around the gifting reset time.

Another event is coming to an end. So how many managed to complete this one?

They are certainly making it much harder for us to complete these new events. I want some of the old ones back so I can finish them in a day or so.... since I have played them numerous times over the years.  

We used to be able to complete the events without using any bonuses, unless a person wanted to complete them in a hurry. Now it seems without using spyglass several times, a person doesn't have much of a chance. And even then, it doesn't always help.

I used several spyglasses on Wabbitgirl and completed the event. I didn't use any on Wabbitgirl2 and I still needed 5 items for the Ancient Ritual collection and 1 item for Whispers in the Walls collection.

I realize this is only a game but it has to be fun also and not so disappointing when a new event comes along.

Just my 2 cents worth.... Oh, in Canada it will now be a nickels worth as we no longer have pennies....

I have a vote.
I completed this event 3 days back
one of my friend suggested to use trees ans Mary's home to increase the production of possessed passengers
and my passengers bar went full in some days
they gifted us The M doll which increase the capacity of passengers bar to double for 8 hours
luckily I saved it otherwise it would be nearly impossible to complete the event.
I collect 2, 1,  5 collection of each Collection Ancient Ritual, Whisper of walls and Lords of Neil
now the problem was possessed passengers and jackets
so I used 7 Turbopop planes dedicated to all destinations event and non event , also collecting bonuses
and for one day I used golden dice+ spyglass bonus
which help me in completing the event in just one day
Visiting Madelen before collecting the returned plane and also clearing catch also help in the event
well Now looking forward for new event
have fun and keep flying

I failed two events in a row too. I used a spyglass one time and completed the Lords of Neil part, but clogged up with possessed passengers.
For me it's now just more effective to fly for any adventure building (especially for those where small planes are used) than to chase a rabbit for 10 or 14 days without any effect.
Regardless whether it is an Aztec Pyramid or the Capitol the final outcome will be the same - one collectible item per day.

The description says that: 'The building additionally increases max. fuel supply by 30', but I'm not sure how it's calculated:
- taking as a base Level 2 (then this upgrade adds 30 units of fuel to the limit) or
- taking as a base 'no refinery' state (then this upgrade adds only 10 units of fuel compared to the Level 2).

I may consider the upgrade only if it adds 30 units, otherwise I wouldn't like to lose 2M coins.

Has anyone upgraded it yet?

I will know for sure tomorrow but I read it will add an extra 30 to what you have now. When they are both upgraded, it increases to 240. Right now I am at 180, tomorrow I should be at 210 and if I spend the 35 greenies for the other one, it works out to 240. I just wish they weren't 3x3 as they take up a lot of valuable space.

Pioneer trail collection- some people might have completed this as its a old task.. small doubt whether they will consider older collectibles of this task..

After the update few building icons and color have changed in my airport..
Most important- when you collect from your buildings pl be patient as one mess pops up asking to use greenies to collect all at once. Be careful
