Get a double amount of passangers and coins from buildings

It seems to be a glitch and I just found it by accident, so I don't exactly know why it's happening.

This is how it goes:
- Tap your buildings once, so the coins/passengers are released, but not yet added to your balance.
- Hit the power/lock key of your phone so that the screen locks.
- Wait for 10-20 seconds (no clue why ).
- Unlock your phone and go back to the game. It collects coins/passengers right away and should now give you a double amount. So for instance, a car dealer will now give 72 coins instead of 36

I not sure why this happens and I don't know if it works for anyone else. So if you give it a try, please let it know here.

It might also work for landing (guest) planes, but I haven't tried it yet.

@Bertus, Thanks works for me as well.
I even only have to wait a few seconds after pressing the home button before returning to the game.
Doesn't seem to work for incoming planes.

hmm too bad. On what device/OS are you playing?
I'm on the Samsung S2 with android 2.3.

I also works for all items planes and buildings drops(just not money and exp from planes)

Brilliant tip. Works great for me. Cash, passengers and items dropped from planes/buildings.

What a fab post, Bertus!! Have just tried it and it works on both passengers and cash for me so far. Am going to try it on drops from guest planes shortly!!

works perfectly on my Galaxy Note

This also works when collecting gifts from planes! Now you get 2 instead of 1 :-)

even on flight catering and fuel buidlings

Sometime I get triple amount of oil using the double income trick. It seems this happens when I hit the start button when the oil icon is moving already. To avoid the risk of just getting one income when hitting the start button to late, I first tap a building and then immediately the fuel station. When the coins start to move... You know it is time to hit the start button...
Please try and share if you succeed ....

No Luck for me so far. But I am using an iPad so could that be why it isn't working??

That glitch worked with an older version of the game (e.g. 1.42) on android devices but GI fixed it with 1.46.

Maybe you're lucky enough to find new glitches for Idevices

As kadadud said last known version where this glitch was working is V1.42. (Let me know if anyone needs the APK).
