HOW TO GET MORE COINS IN THE GAME?
At the end the game is how to maximize real estate space according to your gaming style and how often you play during the game.

I have learned the hard way, and based on my mistakes, I have compiled a list of recommendations. I am now at level 29, with 42 stars in 20 days and never paid a penny to the game makers.

1- HOW TO PLACE BUILDINGS EFFICIENTLY

When you select a building, add 0.25 spaces for each building in calculating your Yield per space. Since roads in a highly saturated land are only 1 space and serve 4 buildings. A 3x3 takes really 9.25 spaces whereas a 1x1 takes 1.25 spaces.

It is best to place your larger buildings along the edges of your land, get a row or two of single 1x1 buildings in the following rows with roads scattered but not connecting roads. (Forget aesthetics, get land efficiency). The most efficient road layout for single buildings is the chess horse maneuvers, that is from one road to the next you will place it two steps forward and one sideways.

2- WHAT BUILDINGS TO SELECT FOR COIN MAXIMIZATION?

Depends on your playing style:
Are you an avid player checking every 5 minutes or an intense player every hour or an occasional one every day?

Based on this answer you should get the buildings that give you the most coins for your frequency.

For instance, Eatery will give you 1,116 coins if you play 16 hours straight, or 34 coins if you play one minute every hour for 16 hours (17 visits).
Whereas the Bowling Alley gives you 986 coins playing 1 minute every hour or 16 hours straight.

I have made calculations based on total daily Coin income and Income per space. This is my list of the most profitable buildings:

Visiting 5 minutes every hour 17 times (16 hours per day):

Visiting 4 times per day (4 hrs apart minimum) for 5 minutes each time yields:

From the above examples, you can see that the most profitable buildings are those 1x1 and 4x4 that yield every 20 to 60 minutes. The less frequency you visit the games, the larger buildings are more profitable.

For instance if you only visit once per day for 5 minutes, the breakdown is very different:

3- DON'T SELECT ALL LANDING PLANES

Accept all landing planes requesting passengers, assuming you have a good passenger production. Your reward is proportional to the passengers used.

However I reject Level 1 and Level 2 planes requesting fuel, and only pay for fuel for level 3 or above, it takes the same amount of fuel: 1 barrel per plane, and you want to get the most experience and coins.

To trick the system and not pay fuel or passengers, accept the landing, accept ONCE the plane but do not select the REFUELING DROP, go to VISIT A NEIGHBOR and return, the plane is gone and you got free Experience and free coins with no cost.

4- UPGRADE ONLY WHEN NEEDED

Use your coins to buy land, not upgrade unless you really need it. You want to produce as many coins as possible to pay for the upgrades. The upgrades will not pay for the land or buildings but the opposite is true.

5- SCATTER YOUR PLANES OUT

When sending planes out, don't send them all to the same location, you won't have enough fuel or passengers to reload them when they return.

Same goes for checking the landing time for existing planes, ensure your new plane out does not land with other planes already in the air, to allow you to stock up with fuel and passengers.

6- DON'T WASTE FUEL

When your fuel gauge is almost full and you don't have planes pending to land, SPEED UP flying planes to land immediately. Calculate their cost based on Fuel per hour of speed up and pick the one that consumes the least, or pick the flight to the destination you needed a supply item. Leaving the full gauge is useless, since you cannot accumulate more that it is allowed, so burn it all up and get the planes back out flying.

If Plane 1 requires 30 barrels and is 30 minutes from landing and Plane 2 requires 40 barrels and is 2 hours, then Plane 2 will use 20 barrels per hour and Plane 1 will use 60. It is more efficient to recall Plane 2 (If you have enough fuel).

7- VISIT NEIGHBORS DAILY FOR FUEL, PASSENGERS AND COINS

Every day you can get 10 passengers, 5 fuel or 25 coins from each neighbor, maximum 5 neighbors, pick what you need, or use it as a reserve when you have too many planes reloading to complete your supplies.

Plus you earn HEARTS I love you , I don't know what they are for, but what the heck, they will come up with something later for the hearts.

Very well written....

Just two comments....

1) Dolce Vita collection from the romantic cafe, sweet shop and Gazebo give these building a special status. The collection is easy to collect often with multiple drops when you have multiple buildings and the collection gives 300 coins/ 140 cap. I have collected over 100 times giving 30 000 coins.

2) Because there is no change in the cost of a speed up (always the same value with 3 hours or 10 seconds remaining), I would normally prefer speeding up the one with the most time remaining.

What benefits do the new HEART and the STARS bring?

You earn HEARTS by visiting other members and getting their oil, coins and passengers. Only 5 points daily.

How do you earn STARS? Any tricks and tips on improving this one?

Lets hope other people contribute substantial tips to enrich our community and get more, more, more coins and experience.

I think the stars are recieved for becoming a specialist. So and so many trips to the same destination. See the thread...

I still havn't figured out what they mean or are good for.

I have every now and again recieved coins and a surprise box upon becoming a specialist, but i don't know if it happens every tme.

Also still working out what the hearts are for, that you recieve for visiting.

Can Flight School be deleted once you get the upgrade to Jet? Or should I keep it for Powerful Delta?

The Catering Facility can go on the airport side and no road is required. But is it needed after the plane upgrades?

You need the Catering Facility. it creates MEAL every 12 hours. The meals are needed for flights from Moscow and onward. In fact, you'll most like need more than one Flight Catering Facility. Dusss is creating--or has already created--6 catering facilities. I'm about finished with construction of 5 catering facilities. I want to be as independent as possible with meals for flights each day.

Supposedly the more Hearts you have the more neighbors you can visit. As for stars, you earn them for achieving specialist, expert, and master (I think is the order and names) on each of the destinations, (you get three stars per destination) and of course the number of stars you have helps unlock new destinations.

Thanks a bunch.

I am not sure I am getting more visits with more hearts, I am on level 4 Hearts, and still get only 5 visits per day, although they said that I would be getting more, but they did not say when or how many. Mad

The hearts went from 5, 12, 18 to 56 to complete a heart level, probably 5 heart will require 999. Twisted Evil

Read somewhere that flights for Jets and bigger require certain number of stars to unlock (cannot confirm, still struggling with items for flight school).

Several guides state that all buildings need road access, which is incorrect. Power buildings (Power Plant, Wind Turbine) does not need it. Same goes for Control Tower, Hangars and Runways.

At least in the beginning not many residental buldings are needed. I am on lvl 13 and 1 Mansion, 1 Manor, 1 House w/pool and couple of Side Wings are sufficient for my needs. It depends on your play style, but try to figure out how much you need to cover your demand for passengers, then fill the rest of your space with Commercial ones.
