Android update is finally released

There it is! The Android update, including the Dark Skies event

Just downloaded this. DF99 put together a nice guide last year. Here is a link to the thread:

Also, I remember seeing some advice on how to manipulate getting more chances at the Black Wraiths (seems like it's visit a neighbor, go back home...something like that). If I can find it, I'll also post here. If someone else remembers this, please feel free to share!

By the way, I only have 1 Halloween Shop (placed by itself right above my hangers), but I will try to get more to help folks out. I remember this challenge being quite frustrating!

I have 4 cemeteries for people to visit and 3 halloween shops by the pyramid. I can gift aerosol.

I just did this...confirmed that it still works this way! Also, I could use one Leyden Jar

Interesting change in this new release. Chance of speeding up planes is now highlighted when the time window is open. Besides, you can either use some fuel catalyst or speed up for free by watching a video from one of their sponsors.

Thanks for mentioning the watch a video and speed up for free thing...I didn't know that! But is anyone else having this issue:

When sending several of the same planes to the same destination, I've always just started one plane, then hit the airplane icon on the bottom. This has always brought up the same location, so all I have to do is hit "Fly" and do it over and over until I no longer have any of those needed planes...now it goes to the "active flights" tab only. Also, when I first hit the icon, it goes to the flight listing that require maps...I know these are minor but kind of annoying...

This one!!! It's more than minor annoying. It's a new button on the pop-up and I like the idea (I can see how many flights/stars I have) but I don't want to default there. When I click the flight button, it goes to the top of the list. Errr...

Glad it isn't just me that's annoyed!

I now have 5 Halloween shops and 3 cemeteries if anyone is interested.

I have ten cemeteries starting in a row behind my Space Needle, and two Halloween shops, one on either side of my Ice Hotel.

My quest is ready to complete, but I will hold off until the final day to help my neighbors. I can gift aerosol, and will give priority to returning Halloween items sent.

The pumpkin patch is 5 greens and only 20 coins every 12 hours.  Does it drop collection items?  

I have pumpkin patch from last year and it drop collection items as Halloween shop, rate is very seldom.

Hi Rock,
I really like the update with the blinking icon for notifying us when we can speed up our flights.  But, when I click on the ">" button I only have the ability to use catalyst.  I don't see a "watch the video" option.  Is the free video only available at certain times?  Or am I missing something?

Truth be told, I couldn't see any "watch the video" option today, while I did see it yesterday - I even watched a 25-second video and got the boost. Is GI playing mind games with me? I don't know if the option applies only to certain flights or under unknown circumstances though.

I think they only have so many videos - or so many a day. I had 3 yesterday and 1 today to complete buildings.

I didn't waste the greens.  From what I could tell, it drops at the same rate as the cemetery and haunted house.

fyi, what df99 posted does indeed work (in that you get 2 Wraiths when you visit the neighbors), but today, I just visited the neighbors without activating the net (I didn't have 7 aerosols). 4 of my neighbors had the Black Wraiths. Not sure if I just got lucky or what but thought it was worth sharing for those still trying to finish.

By the way, I still need aerosol cans

It seems the rate of black wraiths has increased!
As usual 5 wraiths appeared, then I went to visit some neighbors, and at 2 neighbors I found 2 wraiths each, then I went back to hit the 4min wraith at my own airport, went to visit neighbors again, back to my airport and then some neighbors. In total I hit about 13 wraiths, and the next day I had about the same rates. So it's better than in the beginning of this event this year, and the full event last year.

@skinnyb I will send you an invite and send some aerosols.

Thanks! And makes sense about the increased rate. I did see an increased rate of items dropping from the buildings (and went from no Collection of the Seal to being able to collect 5 of them...after just 2 days of visiting). I only have about 13 Wraiths to go and can complete the event but will hang on in case someone needs help.

By the way, I now have 4 Halloween Shops...they are all located just above my hangers.

The watch video options does seem to be randomly offered/scattered. Nice addition, IMO, as well as the "speed up" flash alerts. I rather hate that selecting a new flight defaults to the map-needed ones first, but whatever. I'm just glad the bug I had got fixed where every time I wanted to go from one neighbor to the next, I would have to go home first, else all my neighbors wouldn't load. Oh and wow. When did all those new buildings get offered? I've been playing religiously, but haven't had space to add new things so I wasn't paying attention. :/

Don't worry, by the time we have the land expansion to put these buildings on you'll have the money  .

I'm trying to update my "infrastructure" still! 300k to my name so City Hall expansion is like but a dream right now. Maybe by Christmas...

Is there a reward for the side quests concerning the new buildings, or is it only to get us spending coins? The coin droppings aren't very good compared to other cheaper buildings. And some of them look horrific!

It's pretty much good old fashioned following instructions... At a certain moment mr Wulf instructed to build a racecourse. After completion you have to get a horse from Dubai, he'll fall off the horse and ends up in hospital (or clinic) which you have to build as well. Then you'll have to visit him 5 times because he's lonely and so on... Just as in the early stages of the game. No large benefit, just coins and experience points.

Yeah I'm pretty much at the same point. I'll do my last visit at the hospital tonight... Is that the last task? No need to bribe journalists so that they don't speak about this incident?

I knew there wouldn't be a lot to gain there but I just want to ged rid of all these icons on the left side of my screen

They just gave veterans a new way to spend there huge piles of coins. I'm only missing the last update on the control tower and then I'll have nothing else to do with my coins than buy these expensive buildings.. What do you do with your coins?
