Game Lost again

Hello neighbours, 
Bad news.  After upgrading my tablet android to 4.4.2 , my game crashes at launch. I don't think there's any other solutions apart from reinstalling and asking GI a restore coupon...

Best of luck neighbor. Been there and done that 3x. Your city is still there, so GI should have no trouble getting you a restore code. Let us know how it comes out.

Hope the fix stays with you. GI's restore coupons gave me different gift lists, and my game would reset. They finally fixed it by restoring my original gift set.

I haven't yet lost my game but had to change phones because my screen died. It came back the next day but I can't connect a USB cable to the phone (neither mac or PC will recognize it). Does anyone know if you can transmit the data to a computer over wireless and root the game that way? I am currently in discussions with GI over restoring the progress on the new phone. Any ideas would be great if GI can't do anything.

Your game is also stored on GIs server from the last point where you had connectivity. Should be as easy as installing a new "Day 1" game on your phone. Then GI sends you a restore code that you enter just like a neighbor code, and your old city returns. I am a game restore veteran.

Thanks, they gave me the code today. My gifts are much better in the new game I started and my old phone started working again so I'm a little torn. Probably will switch over tonight then start a new game on the old, less reliable phone.

I'm hesitant to share my experience with losing my game but I will against my better judgment. I'll make it pretty sort.

My phone screen died and I needed a new phone. I contacted GI and after a couple emails they gave me a code to load onto the new phone. This resulted in the game being migrated on to the new phone with all my neighbors etc except for one thing: I got the gifts that my new game had. So I suppose if you are willing to risk it, you could remember your friend code and transfer to a new device. I don't know if you could delete the game reinstall then have the new game migrate or not but it might be worth trying. Hope this helps.

Nice experience I have made. On Tuesday my game crashed and I was not able to restart it. All the recommendations related to clearing cache, forcing stop of the game and restarting phone did not help. Today is Saturday and I am still waiting for the GI response to finally solve the problem. I have deleted the data and started the game again, applied for restoring code and waiting. Hope it will be sorted out soon.

Adding my name to the list. My tablet froze last night, when I restarted it, Airport City was back to the beginning. I've submitted a request to G!. Waiting for their response.

Finally, after couple of days I have got restoration code. It surprised me as the procedure took a long time and the explenation was realted to thorough investigation. Good to know, I hope they investigate the ones with 150 launches per week, which is from my point of view impossible to achieve. Good luck and have fun
