new update: Time to Rock

Hi,

From the Bali flight there are 5 new drops: Bracelet, Loudspeaker, Power amplifier, Haze Machine and Spotlight.
The Bracelet is for Crooker Quest, but the last 4 I think are for the Music Arena and are giftable too (one per user).

For the collections I have one new (yesterday was 76 in total and now 77) and it seem to be the Aztec Legacy that has item from unexisting flights (Tollan, Chichen Itza, Macchu Picchu, Tenochtitlan and Quetzalcoatl Temple)

Anyone on iOS having trouble with the update? I updated my game, and none of these new buildings/flight items/missions are available? Oh how I love GI.......

I believe iOS have a different quest running at the same time.

They don't need any special items (thank goodness!). I just opened two after waiting for the construction period to end... FYI they seem to pay out the same schedule/amount as the car dealerships.

The drop rate for items is pretty good. I got the bracelet after 2 flights, and I have a lot of other items already.

You're luckier than me so far- I've sent out 13 flights and haven't had the bracelet drop-- but I DID get all the instruments in a matter of hours..

Same here, neither game has returned a bracelet for me
A pain having to fly to Turkish Coast for a landing lamp.
Same with the other flights. All need special items like beacons, fuel supply's etc...

Ha anyone noticed, that fuel is not giftable anymore, only through facebook? I think this is, what "free2fly" means. Sad

After visiting research labs, you have to visit libraries (or bookstore...the one with books on the top) to buy an ATLAS book....i'm there....but with no luck Sad

I saw this from another AC forum, and this is what one of their members posted:

1. Get a bracelet from Bali
2. Go to the Country House of Mr. Wulf
3. Get a Certificate of Authrnticity from a neighbors Research Lab
4. Buy an Atlas from the Bookstore
5. Visit the Resaerch Lab to understand the decription.
6. Find some Map Draftes in Book Stores of your Neighbours. (6 pieces)
7. Fly to Machu Pichu using the map from warehouse(Turboprop, 1 Flight)
8. Recover the Bas Relief in the Machu Pichu(Turboprop, 1 Flight)
9. Buy the Map to Tolan at the Airship Store

That's what I've found so far. I guess we'll find out more as we go along with it. I am just wondering if we'll get anything (e.g. a building) from completing this quest.

BTW, I don't know if you noticed, but not that many of us can gift the Power Amplifiers. I guess this is the "difficult-to-get" item for this quest. I am just hoping that I can get my 4 Power Amps with the limited landing lamps and fuel additives that I have in stock. As for the Biker Jacket, the dropping rate is quite decent. I currently have 4 Festival Camping sites, and it gives out 2 jackets every other time I click on them. I've built 2 more this morning, so, let's see if I have more drops proportionally.

Thanks Harrier for the details, it seems that I will need more than one bookstore to get better drop and also it will help neighbors to get map drafts.

There is a new Collection (#18, Aztec Legacy), maybe is related with the flights to Machu Picchu and Tollan.

If I'm correct you can get maps to Tolan, Machu Pichu, etc. in the Duke Crooker's airship.
I think you can buy them (i believe 1000 for Tolan, 2000 for Machu Pichu, i don't know the others) when it arrives.
These maps work like bonusses: for 6 hours you can fly (with the turboprop) to the destination (such as Tolan,...) and hope to bring back the one item that drops from the destination to collect the Aztec Legacy (#18 in your collections list ).
When you collect these items 6 times you get the Aztec Temple, I believe.
The airship arrives in 4 days and 3 hours (so sunday 01:00pm CET).

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is a proper repressentation.

The Time to Rock update seems to have corrected itself on iOS, but the only missions I have are "build Music Arena, collect musical instruments from planes, collect biker jackets", and in addition the new buildings are available (theatre, festival), and the music items drop from flights, but there's none of the other missions you guys seem to have as per above posts...

At least the gifts cross platforms on this one!

The 3 missions that you mention are part of the main "Time to Rock" mission (which is on a time counter - 14 days)

There will be another mission on the normal list (left hand side) to get the bracelet from Bali. Once you complete that mini-mission, it will be replaced by the 2nd one. Compete the 2nd mission and you will be given the 3rd one and so on ....

I can gift ~~power amplifiers~~ loudspeakers from both games (jedverdejo and jedv2), so feel free to add me as friend and I will do my best.

As you may know, I am not able to redeem codes and not all the friends can go through (according to GIS, I have limited social habilities due to time traveling, which is not true Evil or Very Mad

). I will accept all the friendship request I receive and send ~~power amplifiers~~ loudspeakers accordingly.

Just finished this mission and all I got was a music shop (1 x 1, 38 coins in an hour)
This mission was very easy, previous was a bigger challenge and those bunnies were a disaster. Strange the big difference in difficulty to complete them.

I can't even get beyond the first flight to Bali. I've sent over 40 flights, and the only drop I got was two copy machines. Neutral

It took me 2 days as well... on top of that, I have 6 book stores and I check on them every four hours on the dot. It finally came last night... so, hang in there! I am sure it'll come!

Hey guys, just a quick warning if you are planning on having more than 1 music arena. Once you complete the challenge and you get your rock shop, the power amplifier, haze machine, loudspeaker and spotlight are no longer dropped from Bali, London, Dubai, Dehli or Berlin. During the challenge, I built 6 music arenas not realizing I needed special items to complete them. I was lucky enough to get my 4 power amplifiers from Bali during the first 2 days of the challenge. Now that I have completed the challenge, those items have disappeared from the flights and I have to rely on neighbors for the special items. I have only seen one person (gammayyc) mention that the power amplifier can be gifted. So I might be stuck with the 5 incomplete music arenas until next year, hopefully.

Got to the research part of the Crocker quest and when I hit a few of them, went back to my home... the quest was completely gone from my left hand list with nothing to replace it...

something i have just noticed. in my city the only music arena item i can send is the spotlight. however when someone sent me a speaker i was able to click 'send in return' even though i am not normally able to gift that item.

is this a know bug/exploit?

"Send in return" is somewhat misleading
it sends the item from the same "group" in return, so in your case it would have sent a spotlight back.
ie the "group" in this case is the 4 items = spotlight, poweramp, speaker and Haze machine.

If somebody is sending you a gift, you can send it in return, at least at Android platform.
It is very handy if you gift something you need yourself, sometimes people send it in return back, as sometimes you lose track who is gifting you, as i got 51 people as neighbour, i never know who i need to send something.

Select the map from your warehouse and "use" it. the flight should show up in your list.

Is there any changes in drop rate? Try to finish Airship Store and need Sandbag, Rope Block and Handling Line. Also, before a significant help from Tamildv, try to get item for rock stadium. 2 days flight to Bali and Goa. No item got from the flight. Sigh.....

thats new quest not even included on the "time to rock" event, its just another quest for uniqe building ffs, need to pay lots of bucks to get maps, and spend lots of oil to rush the flights becuse every map is only for 6 hours, and dont forget that u need 6 complete sets for the uniqe building, haha its all about the bucks u have, becuse u need to buy random sets form the airship, well gl to all Smile

but what really annoy, that to use the maps i need to scroll all over my items that take forever, to the end of it and use it.
