Visiting Neighbors

When I visit a neighbor and collect items from his/her Airport City buildings, does it affect the neighbor negatively in any way? I get the feeling that I can collect till I hit the limit but maybe I am missing something.

Collecting from neighbours is positive for that neighbour. For every collected item the neighbour gets a (small) extra income corresponding to the you're of building.
So feel free to visit and collect as much as you like.

I feel the same way. I went rubber duck hunting at a neighbor's place and got a turbine engine. Felt bad. Is this the way it is meant to be?
