reset time shift

Has any one else experienced time shift in the reset time? Yesterday at 7AM i had 9 hours till a reset - today it was 21 hrs - why is that? it messes with my gifting schedule...

I discovered it has something to do with the time you open up your game. Say your gifting reset is at 12am, but at that time you are not playing the game and you open your game at 1pm, next time the rest will be at 1pm.
A week ago my gift reset was around midnight, but then one day I went to bed earlier and didn't open the game until 9am, so now my gift reset is around that time, until I oversleep and don't open the game at that time.
So everyone has another gifting reset time.
