Daily Gifting Reset not 24 hours ?

Both my games have had a change in the time they re-set for gifting.
NZ2 use to re-set daily around 22:00, now its some time in the early hours of the morning
NZ1 was 08:30 which was 1/2 hour ago for me but it still hasn't re-set...
I don't time travel or modify the clock on either device so not a issue my end...
I guess GIS dont work on a 24hour clock.....

I've noticed that as well.
Previously it used to reset around midnight for me, now it more like 2 am.

Same issue here, my gifts used to reset at around 7am or 8am GMT now they are around 11pm.

It seems to be happening again. Normally I used to send my gifts out at around 11 pm. Since last week its taking more than 24 hrs.
Day 1 - 11 pm as usual
Day 2 - past midnight
Day 3 - after 1 am
Day 4 - hadn't reset by the time I went to bed, so I sent them out in the morning at around 8 am
Day 5 - 10 am
Day 6 - around noon
Day 7 - well past 4 pm
Yesterday - almost 6 pm
Basically I have lost a whole day of gifting in the process.

I have another account and on that account I could visit and send gifts for the second time after say like 5 minutes?

I am under the impression that the reset time is the time you did your first visit of the last batch.
For instance: I always visited after diner around 7pm. I had to work late one evening. The next day I couldn't visit before 11:15 PM. Then I forgot and it became even later. In the end I started to visit in the morning, but I am now back to evening visits again.
Does that make sense to anyone? Or am I kidding myself?

The later ...
My visit times random greatly, but the reset is constantly stretching - like its set from a hour glass and they never turn it on time....
