New building baggage hall

Hello, I looked on airport city facebook & noticed they have a new building called baggage hall,
So naturally I looked at all buildings available at the airport section & it's not listed, I messaged game insight (the creator of the game) & their reply was "it should be listed", other messages sent but they were no help at all.

So my question is does anybody have the baggage hall? If so how much did it cost?

I may be wrong but I have a feeling it's only available in the Facebook version of the game. I'm on Android and it's not listed to buy on my version either.

My android version just offered this today. So, it's available.

I think you need to update your game, on Ipad it was already available few days earlier, on Android phone I got the updated version today. Let´s see what will be the benefit of baggage hall, but I doubt that it could be useful.

So this has turned into a mini-quest. Here is more information about the new Baggage Hall--
Can only be built on the airport side of the city, and requires a road next to it.
Speed up of the initial construction is 600 coins. The building will require 2 of the following items for completion; copy machine, computer, airconditioner, and packaging machine.

Now it is ready for upgrade to Level 2, which increases guest plane loading by 40%. Cost is $20K. Speed up is 1 geen vs. 24 hr construction time. Completion will require 3 of the following items; copy machines, computers, ergonomic chairs, and smoke detectors.

Now it is ready for upgrade to Level 3, which increases guest plane loading speed by 50%. Cost is $45K. Speed up is 2 green vs. 1 day 23 hour construction time. Completion will require 4 of the following items; shredder, projector, calculator, and smoke detector.

Now it is ready for upgrade to Level 4, which increases guest plane loading time by 60%. Cost is $120K. Speed up is 4 green vs. 5 day 23 hour construction time. Completion will require 4 of the following items; archive box, whiteboard, transmitter, and server rack.

With all that done I had to land guest planes until a mysterious box dropped. After collecting that it moves into completing the "T-rex Skeleton" collection by gathering items dropping from guest planes; all are at very seldom rates. Completing the collection will reward you with 800 coins and 400 experience.

Not very useful to me as I don't land a lot of guest planes. Completion was easy enough, I bought the speed up times and had plenty of the required items on hand. Not sure if the level increases are tied to the players level, but I suspect they might be.

Hope this helps. Got it done over the morning's coffee. Feel free to visit and check it out. Currently placed in the upper middle of the airport between the laundries and maintenance hangar.

And the rest of the story. Finished the T-rex set by landing guest planes with active spyglass. Drop rate was about one/eight planes, with T-rex items dropping about 4/1 compared to the regular guest plane items. Took 16 items total before the "Big Paw" finally dropped to complete the set. Afterwards a flight to Malta is required to deliver the showpiece. Can opt out with 4 green, I used a rental plane for two green. After the flight to Malta is done, you will be asked to upgrade the baggage hall to Level 2. Since I had already done that, the quest cleared and no new requirments appeared. Not sure why I was able to build up to Level 4 before completing the skeleton and flight to Malta; probably another GI glitch.

Alls well that ends well. Lunar Launch will be back in a few minutes, so it will be time to go find a new launch to hijack

I landed the planes, collected Catering in Catering Facility, collected coins and tookoff planes.
After that I exit the game and open it. I found that the planes still waiting to land,all of the catering and coins also ready to collect (That means I did nothing in my perious login).

I have always had the same problem in my old device, for the past half year or so.  The good thing is, you have the second chance to land the planes and see if any item drops.  If you want to make sure it saves your game progress, try visit a neighbour first, then exit - yes this is a bit annoying.  See if it works.

I have the same problem with my erik2 game on my phone. You indeed need to wait a while and do some silly stuff like indeed visiting a neighbor , landing some guest planes or just let the game be on for a while before you actually close it.
My Erik1 game on my tablet does not have this problem at all, so it seems to be device related.

It has happened rarely to me on my tablet. Seems that you can enter the game and perform actions withouth the game recording your actions. Seems to happen only when I've had really good drops.

Look for the GI emblem when the game opens. If not, exit and re-boot. Definately a PITA.

I think it may be an issue with the auto-save on some devices. I had the same problem with my old tablet when I was online. Like others have said, I always visited a friend before I exited the game, seems to always save when you do that.

I also noticed I never had the problem when I was playing offline.

I've never had a problem with the new tablet.

It seems to have something to do with the device you're on. It happens to me on the phone and not the tablet. I associate the problem to the game not getting a chance to synchronize your progress with the GI servers before native android process killers kill the game when you exit. Android system manages available ram with your apps that demand it and tries to balance it before your device totally seizes on you. It would happen if your device is struggling to keep up with the RAM draw of your apps.

My phone is over 2 years old now, dual core snapdragon processor with 1gb ram, and I think ram is on the low side. I'm already rooted and running a light rom with very few apps, but every now and then I exit and come back hours later and it's back to square one.

No problems on the tablet though; on the ASUS nexus 7 it runs smooth. I can even tap home and use other apps, and come back and the game is still running. On the phone when I tap home it automatically exits out of the game, won't multitask with airport city running.

UPDATE: OK, nothing major...the plane comes back from Arctic Station and you get the "mission complete" message with 61 experience and 88 coins...next mission is finishing the ancient reptile collection.

Your right about the arctic station; forgot to include that with all the other items.

Has anyone noticed the larger guest planes don't appear to fill any faster? The smaller ones fill rather quickly now but the larger guest planes are still as slow as before. I have upgraded to the 50% level.

Could this have something to do with my hangers being the lower level ones?

I think they are a bit faster. They used to be mega slow, now just super slow   
Seriously, I did not time it but they are a bit faster. I also have low level hangars.

I agree with Wabbitgirl. I don't notice much improvement at all, especially a 60% improvement. Another worthless building to take up space.
