Hi all,
I'm sorry that I missed a few days. My community has lost a lot of large beautiful trees in a storm, and I have been without power for a few days. I am fortunate that my own tree and house is not damaged. My power came back on this afternoon, so I will do my best to catch up with gifts. Thanks for understanding,

@All - I have been waiting a few days since my game was restored by G! to post but it seems that I have permanently lost a few gift items which have now been replaced by other items from the same collection/group.

I've updated my signature with the new items that I can gift. If there is anything specific you would like me to send, as always, send me a PM and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Hello All, I wanted to join somebodys blue launch but there isn't one open right now.
Also, I haven't got enough stuff to start an own.

Go glad we can finally expand again - my four year old had become Mr. Spendthrift, and no one (including him) could figure out why!!

@ All . my game crashed after using the code from G!. Send them a new message and will wait. But the game only runs up and shut down again. Will Keep you informed. Brasil

@All, I have the same issue but I guess that has nothing to do with the code. I did use the code yesterday I did play in the morning again.
At about 11am local time I turned the computer down.
Sice, it starts and shuts down again, as Brasil described.

Not sure if there was an update from GI again.

Has somebody else a similar issue?

Yes, I played in the morning and then in the afternoon what you and Brasil said is happening. So I'm down too...

Same here for us - not fun!!  We are a little bit relieved that we aren't the only ones...

If anyone finds a way to repair the problem, please post!!

@ All, the new update from Sunday did not fix the issue with my game, so I followed the propasal that I found in another forum.
I did copy some folders and re-installed the game. Copied the backed up folders and pasted them where they suppose to be.

So, I am back now.
I hope that everybody is up to speed again.
If somebody needs some more detailes, please let me know.

Yes, we did the same thing and it worked.  I was nervous about it, but it turned out OK.

My games are still down; and I don't think I will have time to fiddle with my computer today. Plan your gifting accordingly.

@ Thanks Uschu for the tip, but I was in contact with G! regarding the other issues. They told me today that they need up to five days to restore my game after getting some files from me.
Will let you all know, when I'm back. Brasil

The repair update is in the windows store to download. It worked, so, I'm back and will work on catching up.
But, I'm very busy with real life and I will probably not be able to play every day for the next few weeks, until sometime in September. If it matters to you, keep track then return gifts only when I am able to send.

@ Barb, at the windows store. You should find it under your windows 8 apps. It looks like a shopping bag.
Entering the store just search for "Airportcity".

I did that, but all I saw was the original game, not an repair.....

Apparently I am not very good at looking in all locations, anyway I found the update in my apps file (finally) and am back.

@Brasil,
No on the levels 55-60. Are they coming?

for next time: Microsoft does make things intuitive. To do updates:
1) enter the store
2) mouse right to get the menu
3) click on Settings (the gear); you have to be in the store
4) click on apps update
5) green checks are selected
6) click on button at bottom to start (I forget the name but it's obvious, like "Start Update")
Then just wait.

Sorry I didn't gift yesterday. Today is my daughter's 13th birthday and we have had a busy weekend! LOL

I will be around, but the next two weeks are going to be hectic trying to get the last minute stuff done for the first day of school. If I miss a day gifting, I am sorry.
