American Week! - New update – V1.45 (or V1.46 for some people)

In case you have not noticed – Airport city has been updated with “American Week” – You need to be at level 6 or higher to complete the "Fathers of Nation" collection and get a gift shop as a reward. Drops from gift shops (your own or neighbours) will let you complete the “United We Stand” collection. Drops from Guest planes will let you complete the “Pioneer Trail” collection. Complete these 3 collections 3 times over and you get a “Statue of Liberty”

The limit of 6 buildings of the same type - does not appear to apply to the Gift shop (I have 12 now )

For comparison:
Gift Shop – 11 coins/15mins – 1x1 cells.
Statue of Liberty – 90 coins/4hrs – 2x2 cells.

On a side note, I noticed that the hangers were giving 1 unit of fuel (just like the ones you get when visiting neighbours), appears to be random and some of the other buildings also appear to give extra drops – there is normally an American hat pilot on top of the building so you can click and collect. I have not noticed any issues with zoom (normal 75%, 100%, 125% are still present). Speed appears to be ok as well – I am running it on a HTC evo 3D (dual core 1.2GHz) – so this might need testing on other phones.

I am having some issues with the last version (1.46) regarding the neighbours. The names for most of them have been changed to "username". The only ones keeping their names are those with an older version of the game.

Does any of you have the same issue?

Yes- I have the same issue - I was not too sure if it was just becase I was moving between versions so many times...

YEah i'm having the same problem. Unfortunately I thought it was due to me running the old version so i upgraded to the newer one. Oh well.

Looks like the "username" issue has come back. I also noticed that the neighbours add tab does not refresh - even if you try to "refresh for 1". Cash is not taken.

Looks like they are having servers issues again - but the weekend code worked ok.

Also tried adding a new neighbour and none of the codes will be acceped.

Lets hope they fix this issue soon.

Just noticed that the "gift shop" does not require a road - might help with tight land space

They really do need to sort the username issue out. I don't like people thinking I'm not sending them what they want.

I totally agree, it is a real pain with just “username”. Currently I am just trying to send back what is being sent to me… (something better than nothing)… but with more people than gifts it is very difficult.

I have also sent something generic (fuel) so hopefully it is usefull to everyone.

I am sure people will understand with the current situation…

I also send gifts back, as most people send ne passengers, passengers are of use to everyone.

If needed just restart your game...
