Neighbor is away

Since yesterday when I visit my neighbors, 90% of them are suddenly "away".
Do anybody else have the same issue? Have GI changed the tolerance limit and shows the message when someone hasn't logged in during the last hour?...

I have not had any problems visiting neighbours today with any of my games. Only 1 neighbour seems to be away and has been for a week or so now, but other than him, everyone is fine.
However, I did read a message on another group from an IOS user and she can't visit neighbours either.

At least the back and forth gifting is working. Just makes getting the launch items a little more challenging. I guess I have a new GI imposed "Mission Control 4" working on my game.

FWIW, I received GI's standard reply when they do not know anything: that I am changing my time and date and they sent me a defunct code. I guess I'll live with it until the next update.

Well that is consistent with the game I am having problems with. 
With player that have games on both OSs, I can only visit the IOS. I hope at least my gifts are getting through to my android neighbors.
So far, fingers crossed, my other IOS game has not caught the GI flu this season.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, during the Halloween event. Gi said it had to do with time travel... of course thats not true.
They gave me a code to fix it, it didnt work...than after a week i could visit all of my neigbours again... I think i also could only vistit IOS players...
Sending gifts wasnt a problem
Hope the problem is fixed soon

Are you having any progress? It sounds crazy but why not try to send them a screen shot of the neighbor is away lady... Who know what will happen
