Gifts Sent are different than Gifts Received; Gifting Issue

Hi all, I'm having an issue with gifting. I just moved to level 18 and have been trying to collect items needed to upgrade my Control Tower and Town Hall during my level 17 days.

For the Control Tower upgrade, a neighbor has sent me 3 weather displays and instead I have received 2 fuel catalysts and 1 fuel (3) from that same neighbor, I have received no weather displays.

For the Town Hall upgrade, a neighbor has sent me 2 master plans, and I have received a fuel catalyst and a passengers (5) from that same neighbor. I have received no master plans.

Does anyone know why this keeps happening?? It is very frustrating. I'm stuck!

I've spent about an hour looking on both this forum and the main Airport City forum for any inklings, but have had no luck.

The platforms of all neighbors involved is Android, so this is not a cross-platform issue. Thanks in advance for any help you can give to me.

I have no idea how this can happen. I've heard of gifts not arriving on the other side,  but changing into something else midway? Fascinating... 

I received some fuel3 as well a while ago while the neighbors sent me something else (don't know who anymore, didn't look in to it that much) but this isn't the case anymore.
I have no clue what the problem can be.
Have they tried sending you the item in a different way? clicking the present at you name and then the gift instead of first the gift and then your account? Or the other way around.

If you need me to I can send you a gift from that same level to check whether it will arrive (although you don't need that item anymore)

I am the neighbor that has sent Stevies Master Plans (six in total) and she has received none of them.  She is getting Fuel Catalysts and Passengers, I think.  This is the first time I've encountered this and am stumped, too.  If anyone can send her a Master Plan it may be helpful to troubleshoot.  Maybe it's something that's messed up with my gift list.

Ok, ok...
I just got a PM from a neighbor in the other forum that said he has been receiving passengers from me for several days (I've been sending centrifuges).   This has got to be a recent bug in the game.  I am NOT going to be the one contacting G! to say anything because they will accuse us ALL of time traveling.   What now?  Any thoughts?

I guess I'll send this issue over to the dark side of G! to see what they have to say. Hopefully nothing about time traveling will be received, since I don't even know how to do that.

Hope everyone received my gifts last nite. I could not visit my neighbors at all. Received error message re: game server.

Stevies...welcome to being called a time traveler...they will pretend to help you for a day or two...then say you cheated....as far as G1 is concerned anyone who has any problem with their game is cheating....so good luck...(it's safer to wait in the dark)
