With the current versions of the games... When you return a gift it is not the actual gift sent to you but actually one in its place in your gifting list.

e.g. if you send someone a bracelet to someone who can only send shampoo - when they click on the "send in return" button to send the bracelet back to you - you will actually receive shampoo (which is what they have in their gifting list)

So for you to get bracelets you actually need to find someone who can send bracelets..

Hope that makes sense...

If anyone has bracelets that they can send me or shampoo or DND signs, I am still hopeful that at some point (now that I am receiving gifts again) my hotel will be open for business!!

1 all-inclusive bracelet sent to 4 bath towels. Did not receive packaging machine, but fuel(3).

This has been happening recently where I am not receiving what neighbors are sending me.

I am receiving fuel(3) from rockmsockm too...but rockmsockm has posted that he has been trying to send me DND signs.

Other users meanwhile seem to have been able to add me (thank you) but I can not see them on my list of neighbors nor received what they have sent.

Sorry ams4l...can't see you and no packaging machine.

I am beyond frustrated with how this game is designed and am talking now with Max Wing. Maybe it is just my game...? I surely hope all of you don't have this happening to you too.

Anyways, THANKS for trying. I will keep everyone up to date. I am going to buy the last two amperemeters and get my flights going again (I was at a standstill) so at least I can get the defroster/packaging machine from Dubai by landing flights. Since I can't get hotel items by landing flights..it is likely I may never open that darn hotel!!

I can't see a friend code as I play on my iphone and it doesn't have the tab you talked about. I think people have added me by username and as of yesterday I do have two new friends from this forum - saracen and 4 bath towels. Can't seem to add YJ-whiteboardx2, Wooter, or dijkstra. (THANKS btw for the note about only being able to add 5 a day)

I bought the 2 amperemeters I needed to open my repair 4..so I am fine for now.

I will update my profile if anything changes as far as my hotel or flight catering. I do still need 4 of everything except bath towels but they don't seem to be coming through even when people send them.

I have a bunch of other RL stuff to do today. Appreciate the help though.

Maybe there is a forum out there devoted to ipad/phone users. I know that some people play this game on facebook too. There really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as far as codes that work/don't.
