Anyone brave enough to update?

I just saw a new update. Considering all the problems with the previous ones: did anyone update, and if so, is it safe?

I did update, there's a new challenge called "The Spring Has Come". A bit strange, it looks like it doesn't require any flights to do this challenge.

It is the same flower challenge as with Valentine. You can gift pruning shears or visit neighbours and get them from their flowers. But there is a new thing now. It are butterflies, require a net to catch them. Get a net from your neighbours butterflies, can't be gifted. If the droprate is the same, it is impossible again. Althought I got 3 flowers out of 4 attempts.
No new buildings or destination. Altough the challenge butterflies might drop from botanical garden and flowers from the greenhouse. But I haven't seen those.
Furthermore there seems no performance issue or other problems.

That's what I was wondering as well, how to get those buildings.

I am in luck. I didn't complete the valentine challenge, so I still have 3 bouquets left. No pruning shear hunt left.

I am curious though. You need 3 treadmills. But what happens if you use one for a space flight? Treadmills are difficult to get for me.

Update 1.88 works fine for me so far. I have used all my treadmills for the space flights as they came and still started this event with the "running wild" component already completed. They might not count towards the space collection while this event is live though...

I had 2 treadmills in the bank and joined a space flight after the update.... I only have one now. I might give space a rest for a few days!

Does somebody can post a picture of the botanic garden and the veranda ?

The botanic garden is the gift you receive when completing the new challenge, I'm building it right now.

Collected butterflys from several neighbours but I do not get any nets - GIS upgrade oversight I guess. Cannot be gifted either!

Updated, worked fine the first time. Now I can't open the game. Here we go again....

Update works for me, and at long last the launch pad is working again so definitely worth upgrading. The butterflies are invisible, but the "!" is still there; drop rate ~ every fifth giving a net. Shears a lot more generous though.

Still not working for me. Tried everything.

Well once again GI gets it only half right with an update...surprise, surprise. My spaceship lander that got lost somewhere in the depths of the game engineer's incompetence with the last update has returned, so that's good. And I can visit (some) neighbors, and gift again, so that's also kinda good too.

The frequent game crashes that reset everything I did that session are still alive and well, and the initial catch-up gifts I was finally able to receive today after a week spent cursing the last update mysteriously disappeared on me after one of these crashes, so not too cool.

Overall, happy to get my space program back online and visiting/gifting neighbors back up and running, so one thumb cautiously up for the new update??

I haven't had any software problems, thus far, but the drop rate for items seems abysmal. I've used 23 shears and only gotten one flower. 9 butterfly nets and zero butterflies. Was it this bad on Valentine's Day? I have only been playing a week and don't want to waste my clicks on neighbors flowers and butterflies to get shears/nets if the drop rate is this bad. Also, what was the prize for completion on Valentine's Day? Worth the effort and resources?

Please remember to make full use of the increased drop rates - do not complete the promo till the last minute....

Not sure I understand what you mean, tamildv. Are you referring to the increased drop rate of nets and shears by visiting neighbors? If the 3% drop on flowers/butterflies that I've experienced thus far is an "increased drop rate", I think I'm going to skip this spring event. As a new player, I might be better served using those neighbor clicks on anything...even coins... I guess I'll try my luck today on shears/nets again, but if I don't see improvements, I'll probably just skip the Spring event.

Seems there's another new update for iOS...history has taught me caution; anyone have any feedback on the stability or anything?
