Losing progress

Hi all,

My SC-game isn't saving progress anymore. When I open my game all my planes are coming home (as they should), when I send them away again, close the game and re-open it, I have to send them away again. My game hasn't saved any progress, so it's not that flights are coming home within a few minutes, but it's the same plane coming home everytime.

I've tried to visit some neighbours before closing the game, but no difference. I've also tried to wait a while before closing the game hoping it will save, but still the same problem. Even rebooting my tablet didn't fix it. And I've updated my game, but it's still not saving any progress.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? I've tried to contact GI, but their support is currently not available, so I can't open a ticket at this moment. Any ideas what to do?

Clear you cache and reboot your device. Have had this before and that has worked for me.

Do you have an update SC?
Since this week I'm experiencing this problem as well. Visiting neighbors seems to work, but I don't always have time to do that before the game suddenly shuts down.

The game will shut down when:
I receive a whatsapp message
When I change my phone volume
When I watch an add to receive fuel
And sometimes suddenly without doing anything.

It seems that you problem is a bit different. I wasn't able to play the game at all anymore, because the game was saved at one point and it loaded that point everytime I opened the game.
So when I opened the game my planes were landing from the same flights over and over again, and everytime I opened the game I was able to send out 20 gifts, because it didn't save anything.

Only thing I could do was contacting GI, and they sent me a restore code, but I'm not sure if that will help you.

It seems the problem is solved, I don't know how, maybe I'm just lucky!
