New event: Please post if you have American week buildings to visit

Hm, I will soon need to figure out what to do!  I've only managed to amass 1 shop since the event started (been flying to US cities constantly).  Also I've gotten 3 drops from neighbor's shops.  Here I thought the farmer's market quest was bad!

I'll try mike's tip when i have more shops, but any other helpful hints?

I have three planes flying to DC/ SF, two to LAX, 1 to NYC, 1 to Chicago and 1 to Houston.

My big one goes to Caracas when it can LOL.

Are others also having trouble getting c-notes (ben franklins)? I have plenty of others, just short on those. And it's hard to get collecting on gift shop items with only 1 in my airport.

Same here.

For my Hotdog 1 I only had 1 gift shop but I can't build it due to over population. My count for Fathers of Nation are 4 9 10 9 0. Still need 2 Franklins moneys., then I'm done.

For Hotdog: The United we stand are 3 5 0 10 1 to complete the games.

The probability of me finish both game are pretty slim. Even finish 1 seems impossible.   

I'm still looking for Mr. Franklin to show up for 3 times. I'm currently sitting at 6-14-7-10-0 for the Fathers of Nation.

Still 4 days to go. If nothing happens, I probably need to spend greens for a Spy Glass.

But with just 30 hours left, I'm starting to think I won't make it in time  

Hello.....I cannot get Washington to drop.....do I need to fly to Washington DC to get this. I have lots of Grant !

I also have 4 gift shops.....3 gift shops were from last year event.

Managed to get 5 gift shops up, but with a mere 36 hours remaining when I accomplished that. Need 1 more freaking Declaration of Independence to finish event. 12 hours 30 mins left.
