Hi folks. What do folks do about keeping multiple buildings? For example, I built a stack o' Farmers Markets for the recent Easter promo and I can see myself building Research Labs for The Phantom Menace.

What do you do with them afterwards? So, I have 7 Farmers Markets, I was thinking I'd maybe keep one and sell the rest. Is that a reasonable thing to do?

Hi kibitzer, if you have enough land you can keep them but if you don't, keep one or two and then sell the rest because there are many missions, 2 per month aprox. and in some cases you need to build a special building to collect items for the quest. Is up to you.

i try and keep the special buildings (especially ones you have to earn like stadiums, farmers markets etc and sell off easily replaceable ones like the car yard, bowling alley etc...though i have sold 8 farmers markets across both games, but still have 6 left on each.

I'll more than likely sell off most of the space race MMC2 buildings that are easily replaced and not very profitable.

I only ever get land from the 1/2 price sales, and using the weekend 3greens- so real estate is always at a premium for me.

My criteria for keeping special event buildings is also usually based on how hard they were to construct, and how much of a benefit they are when the special event is over...

For instance: Some of the "Santa" buildings were a pain in the butt to collect items for, so I've never deleted them.

Some special buildings actually aren't too bad re: profit... I kept 4 of my 5 farmers markets because they actually produce coins at a decent rate.

I'm with Canterbury on the space stuff-- I'll likely sell off most of those... I may keep one research lab and one aviation museum depending on the available space...
