Game update V1.53

Looks like a new version has been push out (V1.53 for me).

Their change log says “Download a new game version and you’ll get a Mystery bonus – unique random object which you’d never got otherwise and terrific new quests!”

Could just be a ploy to get us all on the new version, will report back further findings…

The update is nothing special. A new building called "Newspaper" is implemented, generates just coins:

Level 20
Costs 2800
1x1
Electricity - 3
Population - 8
Construction takes 6 hours
Yields 40 coins every 8 hours.

I would say "holy crap"!!!


Some of the mystery bonuses are:

- Golden Toad: Income from all commercial buildings is instantly available to collect
- Alarm Clock: Passengers from all residential buildings is instantly available to collect
- Lucky Cap: More experience per flight (+50% for 6hrs)
- Vintage Weather Vane: Increase the speed of your planes (+35% for 6hrs)


For me the update isn't it worth, I'll stay on my current version

New planes, destinations or the fix of username problem is not included

I also received a notification update today, not sure what's my current version. Where can I find out what's version in the game?

Yes they have released V1.55 - just looking into this.

I presume you are playing the android game - in task manager if you go to advanced and click on "Manage applications" and then click on Airport City it should tell you the version installed.
