Number of commercial buildings limit?

Hello everybody,
I got a message "too many commercial buildings" (approximate translation from spanish) when trying to build a new commercial building. I am playing the last version and have "only" 24 1x1, 13 2x2 (inc. vip) an 1 3x3 commercial (i.e. providing coins) buildings.
By comparison with many neighbors, I know there are a lot of people with many more commercial buildings than me and have not read about this limit in the forums. On the other hand, it is a bit senseless to allow people buy pricey land to build gardens ;-)
Can any of you give some light on this limit?
Is it a limit per level (currently at level 30)? Is it a new limitation for the last update? Is there a limit per building size?

Hi,
I have not seen that error and currently I have 43 buildings giving me coins and 27 buildings giving me passengers.
Apart from the maximum of 6 buildings of the same type I have not come across any issues.

Many thanks. It was the 6-per-type limit. I were not aware of this limit and the message from the program was a bit confusing.
