Question for long term players

I have been playing since beginning of December '12 and was wondering if in the past any upgradable buildings have had their max levels increase? I just upgraded my control tower to level 6 and added my eighth and I guess final hangar. I'm wondering if I can expect a future update to create a level 7 and the possibility of a ninth hangar. Thank you in advance for your replies.
