Stopped gaining experience points

Not sure exactly when this happened (suspect after the last update), but my experience points are stuck at 4944247. I've exited and rebooted my device and game with no change. Was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.
I know G! will ask for a "screenshot" that illustrates the problem (sigh).

Yeah mine stopped increasing a few weeks ago. Didn't bother raising it with G! though as I'll only get the usual nonsense 'support' and experience points don't really count for much these days!

Same for IOS. My game at level 36 still increases, but my games at level 50 do not.

UPDATE---
Got my reply from G! today; no screenshot required, as there isn't any problem. G! has made a change that stops you from gaining experience once you reach level 50. This will keep players from accumulating points between major updates and then blowing through any future increase in game levels.
