New release for IOC and Android, including land expansions !

Hi guys, 
Just to let you know that G! has released a big new update of AC. It included land expansions and the valentine's day quest. Undoubtedly there is quite a bit more to it, but I haven't been able to test that yet.

iOS update is going to be live in a few hours, Android is coming tomorrow, and Windows is on its way as well.
As always, we've fixed some things, and broken some others - you'll see for yourself soon.

One thing I should note though is that every five-star review, however critical, helps us bring more people to the game, which in turn means we have more resources to make more updates (it's not a direct relantionship, but really does work this way). So if you like the game and want to support us, leave a five-star review.

One more thing: please don't ever hesitate to contact our support team if you have a problem, because it helps us to understand how widespread it is, and it provides information that helps us eventually fix it.

My neighbour-visiting issue is still there despite what they promised

Also, I find the new farming method annoying .. It is hard to farm many buildings in a quick sequence as there is so much stuff jumping out and getting in the way..

Visiting neighbors also seems to be a bit malfunctioning. I need to go back to my own game each time before I can visit another neighbor...

Same here

Expanded some territory today so I could move some monuments out of my wharehouse. When I tapped on the new monuments to check when they would produce, I saw a new button on the pop up window to "increase production". If seleceted it shows additional slots that can be purchased for 220 green. Looked similar to expanding the repair slots in your repair hangar. Guessing that this will cause the monument to generate an additional item everyday; not sure as I didn't spend the cash. Did notice that the option to increase production was only available on the monuments I built after the update, my pre-existing monuments did not show the option.

And the best news is....the scooter drop rate is fixed--getting plenty of scooters from guest planes...!!! Way to go G!  !!!!!!!!!

***** UPDATE--Just some clarification on the "Upgrade Production" quirk. It is only appearing on my Colossiums, both new and old. None of my other monuments have it.

I added 2 Bridal Salons to Wabbitgirl. When I view that game from Wabbitgirl2, the buildings are not showing. This is the same for Wabbitgirl2 where I added a few quest buildings and I can't see them from Wabbitgirl.

Anyone else playing 2 games notice this?

Also true for landing guest planes. I have had almost no success in quickly hitting the 'refuel' button to turn around guest planes quickly; I have to wait for the explosion of icons to finish before I can. Definitely not an improvement.

I didn't notice any of the nice features, I only noticed the Valentine's Day event, the horrific amount of drops per building and plane, and that I can't visit my neighbors smoothly.
Thanks for your info about the possibility to expand, and the other new features. Hoping for a expansion sale this weekend so I can buy all expansion at once, but I don't think they will offer us a discount after keeping us wait this long.
Does anyone know how much we can expand?

I lost the ability to gift goalposts, and can now gift the Video wall.
Anyone else a chance in their giftlist?
Can't gift shears for the event either.

No, and I just moved them again to an easier place to see, same side as the other quest buildings.

Rocky and Bullwinkle also have quest buildings and I can't see them from any of my games. Wabbitgirl2 had some from last year and those are fine but I added a few more today and those can't be seen either.

I have been checking some of my neighbours figuring they probably have added some new quest buildings but I am not seeing any. It's like any moving around or adding is not being updated.

I have just added 6 Gazebos, 6 sweet shops, 6 romantic cafes, and 1 bridal salon.  They're all by my hangars, but on the city side.  My second game can see them.  Let me know if you have a problem seeing them.

What's up with the shears?  How do you get them?

And, yes...issues with visits.  I have to go home each time and scrolling through the list just became near impossible.  Very time consuming.  And, at first I thought we were getting three times the drops and coins, but nope...just a flurry of activity...same amounts.

I can see all of what you added. Maybe an IOS problem? I still can't see any of my additional buildings from any of my games.

You get the shears by visiting neighbours and clicking on their flowers outside the city.

The expansion is on complete perimeter addition of 4x4 units running around the entire city (both sides). I am up to Expansion Cell 84, and they want 40 green for it.

I'm waiting until they offer another half-price land sale. I assume it'll be a long time before they do (pent-up demand and all that), but I've waited this long - I can wait longer.

For my neighbors who are after the Wings of Love quest--
My city currently has 6 Gazebos, 6 Romantic Cafes, 6 Sweet Shops, 3 Merry-Go-Rounds, and 2 Bridal Salons. Enjoy!

I bought 2 pieces of land in the back on the left behind my alien, and I can see this from my erik2 game. I also added a bunch of valentines building next to my planetariums and they also show up. 
Maybe I'm the exception to the rule ?

Erik, this is an IOS glitch. I have no problem seeing any extra buildings placed by Android neighbours, but I can't view any new buildings placed by IOS neighbours.

Okay. Well, in that case I guess they will solve it fairly soon. (Famous last words...)

I can see some Valentine shops 6 at Wabbitgirl2 and 12 at Wabbitgirl, none at Bullwinklemoose. I don't know if these are the ones you already had before, no Bridal shops among them so I guess these aren't the ones you bought new.

Wabbitgirl had 12 shops before and a bit further up from those are the 3 merry-go-rounds from last year. I need to get them closer to the rest of the buildings, just need to figure out how....

Wabbitgirl2 had the 6 shops from last year and I have added quite a few more this time around. I don't need the Doice Vita collections but need the passengers so I can complete the Plush Pleasure toy collection.

Now about those merry-go-rounds, according to the ones I have in the warehouse, it says they should be dropping romantic passengers but they are still dropping regular passengers. Is this the same on Android?

They should have dropped Valentine passengers but they dropped normal passengers instead. But this morning there was another update and this is now fixed, they drop pink passengers. (<- I think I was still sleepy when I collected my passengers this morning, this isn't fixed)
Still can't see the newly added buildings, but I did find the Merry-go-rounds.

Earlier the pink passengers became hazy when your normal Terminal was full while the Valentine terminal wasn't yet, this is now fixed too, they stay bright pink until this Terminal is full (haven't experienced that yet).

The problem with visiting neighbors is fixed, you now can visit several neighbors without needing to go back to your own airport. The scroll button is still not working. And all buildings still drop three times.

It not if this was posted yet, but did anyone else catch that the placing multiple parks around passenger generating buildings increases the number of bonus passengers beyond the 5% for the small parks.

This seems to have been fixed. I can see yr new buildings 

I found a new issue.

I can not place my 10th rocketpark.

Game just crashed and wil not start again. Anyone with this problem?

This has happened to me a few times over the last 1 yr and 3 months that I play this game. Luckily not at the moment. This is exactly the reason why I'm so focused on making back ups. The game is buggy...

Expansion sale! Didn't expect it this soon after the upgrade. Because of this sale I was able to buy all expansions around my city side for only 90greens (bought already 1 ago)

Excellent news. I've been been waiting for this I guess most of us would have waited even longer if G! had not put the sale there. I bought 20 pieces of land, a lot of greenies even at 10 per piece.

Found another change today. Went to add more space monuments (Alien Legacy type), and got the message that I had already built the maximum amount. I currently had six built, and more in my wharehouse and was waiting for the land expansion to move them out. I already had ten of the other two out on the airport side, but the ALs can only be built on the city side, so I was conserving space. Looks like G! has lowered some maximum building levels. I would use caution moving any buildings back into the wharehouse if you have over six built, as you may not be allowed to place them back out afterwards.
