Change to new phone

hi guys,

I just change to a new smartphone and I'm wondering if there is anyway to move the saved game from the old smartphone to the new one.

Sadly there is no easy way to move the game over to a new phone. Have you tried emailing GIS (game insight) to see if they are able to help?

Presuming you don’t have root access to your device/phone. You could try some of the methods found in google which use the USB port on the device and the android SDK to get to the data. Not something I have tried myself or could help you with....

Sorry there is no easy answer for you...

If you are rooted is quite simple. Install on both phones Titanium Backup. Open tb on old phone go up and right where is a check like button then go down on the list until you find backup choices, pick first one by pressing RUN. Now you deselect all and only select AC... wait until it finishes. Conect phone to pc and go into internal SD card and look for TitaniumBackup folder... You should have 3 files in there, copy them to pc. Conect new phone and copy from PC those 3 files into tibu folder. Open tibu, again on the check mark but now go for restore options, again first RUN. If you copied those files correctly you should see AC in restore... press and wait until it finishes.

If you're non-rooted, you can play around with adb and backup and restore it that way. At least, that's how I got it from my Samsung Galaxy S3 (rooted), to my Nexus 7 (non-rooted) tablet.

You could email GIS and explain the issue and they have the capability of giveing you a code to move your game from the old phone to the new phone - everything is restored except your neighbours...
