New collection Guardians of the forest

Hi all,

With new update appears a new collection called Guardians of the forest, and allows flights to Avaricum, Gergovie, Bibracte, Alesia and Londinium with a map available in Airstore Ship.

Currently, I see available 2 maps to Gergovie and 2 more to Londinium, but I didn't use this maps until finish UFO quest. Could someone tell us fuel, passengers and what kind of plane we need?

If we will complete 6 times the collection, we can build Stonehenge.

I have only seen two maps brought by the airship, nothing more yet

You need to buy the box/chest from the airship to get the rest of the maps - will do the quest tonight and post more info

Another way of getting you to spend more greens

I think it's like Aztecan. The other maps can get when we will become an expert to Londinium and Gergovie.

Londinium is for powerful delta planes: 40F, 260P and takes 6 hours.
I haven't tried the other ones.

Avaricum is for Delta planes 40F, 160P and takes 6 hours.
Gergovie is for Delta planes 40F, 160P and takes 6 hours,

Bibracte is for Powerful Delta planes: 40F, 260P and takes 6 hours,
Alesia is for Powerful Delta planes: 40F, 260P and takes 6 hours,
Londinium is for Powerful Delta planes: 40F, 260P and takes 6 hours,


Why GI didin't publish detailed FAQ for Guardians of the Forest collection?

I can see the collection and according to the Play store am up to date for upgrades but no challenge... bit odd

With last update appear another Collection with maps.

It's called "The ancient World" and have 5 new destinations:

Troy, Thebes, Delphi, Athens and Sparta. The reward is Ancient Greek Temple if we collect 6 times.

In airship store we can buy firts 2 maps, to Athens and Delphi.

I'm guessing like all the other maps, this one also only lasts 6 hrs and the flight time is also 6 hrs, so unless you speed up flights or have multiple planes, you can only make 1 flight per map.

Yup, saw those too. Didn't see any quest pop up like with the Aztec missions, but I'm sure it works pretty much the same way... which probably means it'll be a pain.

For the "The Ancient World" - Collection 20/83

You need a Jumbo to all destinations:
50 Fuel, 380 passengers, 180 Coins, 180 Experiance,  only 1 items drop per destination at Seldom rate.

Flight time 6 hrs
Map time 6 hrs
Speed up (fuel) 100

When you become a
Specialist - you get one map to the same destination
Master - you get one map to the same destination
Expert - you get a "Map Set: Ancient World" box

The Map Set: Ancient World has three random maps for the Ancient world destinations.

Prize for Completion of the Collection is
Coins 1600
Experiance 600
1x Chariot of Zeus

When you get 6x Chariot of Zeus - you get a "Ancient Greek Temple"

Note that fuel catalysts are very useful with all of these quests.

If you use fuel catalysts, your planes will arrive just before the map is going to be deactivated and you can send them on a second flight, without using extra fuel to bring them back.

To Machu Picchu or Tollan I used only 4 turboprops and managed to make 12 flights with one map, without using extra fuel. On the other destinations you can make less flights with one map this way (since you need more fuel), but even then you can make at least 2 flights per plane.

The "Ancient Greek Temple" is very nice. It increases your max. population by 50 and gives you a random collection item every 24h, like the christmas tree or Maya pyramide

The same applys to "Stonehenge", the reward for the Guardian of the forest collection. It works like the the greek temple.

At the moment I have 4x Maya pyramides, 1x Stonehenge, 1x greek temple and 1x christmas tree. You can get a lot of stuff for collections, even for events which are over (e. g. the Ufo mission). They drop quite often items for the collections which are needed to complete the Sky Captain bonus, that's very nice.

Could someone list how much the speed ups cost (in fuel) for the delta and powerful delta planes to the locations associated with the Guardians of the Forest collection? And how many flights to takes to obtain the 3 stars? Need this info to plan out the number of trips per map....

Its annoying that the maps you can easily buy (i.e no greens) are for different plane types. My initial thinking is to use this method:
1) buy 5 delta planes and complete the flights needed to become an expert to Gergovie. As a reward for becoming an expert ensure I obtain at least 2 maps to Avaricum.
2) Become an expert flying the Avaricum (with the two maps from above and the two you receive for specialist and master). Thinking that this will involve a lot of speed ups to become expert from 4 maps. Make sure the maps I receive from becoming an expert are to Bibracte and Alesia.
3) sell the delta planes and buy powerful deltas. Complete the flights to Londinium. When I become an expert here make sure the maps I receive are to Bibracte and Alesia.
4) Complete flights to Bribracte and then Alesia.

If the fuel load is too high I may have to use 6,7,8 or even 9 planes to complete. Around a months effort to do this I reckon, longer if the next challenge involves other plane types...

Can anyone send me rope blocks for the airship dock?
