People still doing launches?

Since the event ended, do people do launches much any more? It would appear not since the last thread here was started on Monday. The reason I ask is I haven't built anything yet for the space program and if no one is doing launches, I doubt I'll use 2 3x3's and 1 2x2 for buildings that won't have much use...it seems highly unlikely that I'll be able to sustain my own solo launch ever (or at least not for a looooong time), so without the help of many other neighbors, it doesn't seem worth it.
Any thoughts?

I am trying to get an Alien Legacy building, which I think you can get by completing the Space Odyssey Collection three times, but I am not sure. Can anyone confirm this? I have only completed it once, so I am planning on doing a few more launches. Probably doing one this weekend. I will let you know.

yes you can still get the AL after completing Space Odyssey collection x3

Even if I build these buidlings, I know it will likely take me a long time to acquire all the necessary items to get the buildings actually running, so there's no way I could participate in launches this weekend, but if you will continue doing launches over time and a few other folks are still doing them, then maybe it will be worth it just to watch the launch animation!

Hi Rueprim. Yes I'm doing launches as often as I can. I use my daily visits to neighbours to collect the various space collections, in addition to flights to cape canaveral. I tend to find I have enough to launch a couple of times a week. Good luck!

Most people will carry on doing launches as they do net you extra coins and exp, though they are done more frequently whenever there is a mission on.
