Is there an "Add me" thread?

Hello there.. It's my first post. I just started playing this game a week ago. I guess this game has been around for quite a while already. Has interest in it waned? I see a need for more neighbors. Is there an "Add Me" thread available? I haven't seen one.

No, but head over to the Daily Swapping Cross Platform forum, introduce yourself, and post your needs. Send out friend requests and ask, either in the forum or private PM for them to accept your request.
Most players don't accept random invites but gladly accept forum members.

Oh wait... can you tell me why it has to be the Cross Platform one? I don't have a problem with it or anything. I just didn't understand. Are the Android users and Apple users not able to connect with each other? Or mobile users versus Facebook?
