Long Awaited Mail Event 2016

Hi all,
The Long Awaited Mail event just pops up. The guide from previous years is mostly correct:

This year's event include a few new event flights:
- Phuket (Powerful Delta)
- Bora-Bora (Jumbo)
- Majorca (Giant)
- Zanzibar (Falcon)
When visiting neighbours, focus on getting the yellow Stationery Knife (by clicking the Lost Mail around neighbours' city) unless you have complete the Express Delivery requirement.
Mail Kiosk in neighbour city does not drop any items. Focus on Lost Mail or Post Office when visiting.
The Golden Postage Stamp last for 5 minutes, and you should be able to land up to 8 guest planes by visiting neighbours back-and-forth.
Less than 14 days to complete.

I just sent a bunch of planes to Bora-Bora, Majorca and Zanzibar. I can't remember if Letters of Hope were required when I sent them, but I don't recall seeing the requirement. I had some left over from last year, so I am not sure if I used them or not. Does any one know if Letters of Hope are required for all flights?

The new flights do not require Letters of Hope, but they do require the usuals: Flight Catering, Oscillating Beacon, Blanket, or Lollipop.

Yes, the old flights still require the letter of hope but G! didn't attach them to the new flights. I bet it was an oversight when they added the new destinations.

Thanks. I couldn't check the old flights since the requirements for that flight do not appear if you don't have the plane type for that flight.
