Win 8 version getting update notices for Android version?

I just started getting in game notices on my Win 8 game that an update is available but when I click on update it takes me to Google play store for the android version? I also noticed that I can no longer view the world map.
Is this happening to anyone else on Win 8 platform? Is this a buggy update that was released to Win 8 recently or is it just me?

Nope im getting the same thing on my win 8 game. Constant update msg that goes to google play and no world map.

Hope one of you have submitted a trouble ticket to GI to get that fixed.

i also have the same issue.
On 11-6 an update is lauched in the google play store for android.
Since then airport city on other OS keeps displaying messages an update is available with a link to the android version.
I think the programmers there did not discriminate on OS-version and hardlinked this update message to any aiport city version or something like that.
I hope this issue is soon resolved!

Ticket is raised and the solution is not going to be a quick one i was told by helpdesk. Engineers are looking into the problem.
