Ok, now playing the game well after the "it came from Outer Space" promotion and to complete the mission for the spacelaunch series it requires a flight to Tungusta, but that requires the Air Magnometer and Purple Orb. It now looks like the only way to get those are to buy the Mystery Pack for 10 greens. Completely not worth it!

It looks like this was an oversight somehow.
