Space Race (Per Aspera Ad Astra) - V1.69 (V1.70 for some)

Hi, just received an in game message about a new update: space race! sounds great!
but it's not jet available in google play...

Time for challenge: 13 days, 6hr.

New destinations:
Cape Canaveral 17-35-69 flights (turboprop)
Baikonur 19 -38-75 flights (jet)

New buildings:
cosmic fuel station 2x2
Items needed: 4x Assembly Robot, 4x Spaceship Engine, 4x Laser Level, 4x Robot Tester
mission control center 3x3
Items needed: 4xcomputer, 4xWriting table, 4xserverrack, 4xvideowall
the launch pad 3x3
no items needed (Needed: mission control center and road)

When finished launchpad. you can start a launching with neighbours or join a launching of a neighbour.

New items: Assembly Robot, Spaceship Engine, Laser Level, Robot Tester (from flights: Malta, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mexico City, all very seldom)

New gifts: Assembly Robot, Spaceship Engine, Laser Level, Robot Tester, Videowall... ... ...
(I have videowall, Assembly Robot)

4 new collections (austronaut outfit, experiments in space, zero gravity lunch, a space odyssey
first three collections Running collection (Threadmill) needed for launching.
Collections gives items for launching: solid fuel, Explosive bold, additional stabilizer, large fueltank, ..

New quests (with 2 minutes countdown): login into twitter and facebook... (I think GI can use this for advertisments)

NEW INFO: When start space program (friends can join) you have to collect 1600 launching points in 24hrs by using items for launichg. Items have countdown time to get ready for next collecting points.
(it's useful to launch together with neighbours. so do not start your own launch to fast... organise your neighbours first. It is hard to get all 1600 points just by jourself without using cash.)
foquid fuel (100 coins, 10 min):2 launching points
Small fueltank: (300 coins, 30 min): 6 launching points
Add stabalizer: (600, 2hrs): launching 12 points
Explosive bold (1200, 4 hrs): launching 24 points
solid fuel (..., 2hrs): 12 launching points
Large fuel tank (1 cash,2 hrs): 40 launching points
Main stabalizer (3 cash): 120 launching points
Powerfull Explosive bold (9 cash): 360 launching points

seems like a tricky update as the buildings are 3x3 squares, not many ppl will have the land available

I've noticed that the Facebook and Twitter countdown will restart every single time I reconnect to the wifi, or every time I start the game. I also saw a little astronaut countdown clock appearing only in the first 2 seconds after the update, just like other countdown clocks for tasks. However, it then disappeared on me. Maybe this task is similar to the Airship task that doesn't have an "end time"?

Unfortunately, just like what dodgy mentioned, I don't have any free land on the airport side to build the new buildings. I also blew all the green cash a few weeks back when they have the 50% off sale on land. I guess I will have wait it out!

I've updated my game as well. Although I don't think I will be finishing it now due to lack of space, at least I can help with the gifting.. I can give video wall and laser level..
Seeing the colour of the 2 destinations, they will stay even after the quest.. , so I will wait..

Hi well I did some reorganising and selling. Build all the space buildings.
Took me some effort to clear up space but its there. Used some green so finish up fast
Looks like a nice quest but you need a lot of everything.
For me its welcome because i maxed out everything.
133 stars 8 hearts full bank etc.

Also problems with the quest and the update seems to be full of bugs (again...)

just updated. I have also observed a crazy behaviour in the mission clock. But what is annoying me the most is the fact that none of the bugs i am suffering is still solved. All my older neighbours are named username, there is no update in the names since summer, i cannot visita neigbours since the ghosts event (just newly added ones) and no code is working since two weeks ago, so i am not able to add new neighbours. So.all the neighbour part of the game is crazy and almost useless.

i can still send and receive gifts. but appart from a few of my 150 neighbours, i am gifting in the dark. Just returning received items and some random gifts to complete the dayly quota if needed.

BTW I can gift motors and video panels.

It seems i'm the most useless player here I have to gift Video Walls like everybody and lasers ...on both accounts.
I will do the event only on ramadri account, as i don't have the cash nor the space on stylgar account. I will start sending valls and lasers to everybody that post HERE, and after everybody gets all items i'll go to need parts topic again.

I have Video Walls like everyone and Assembly Robot. If anyone interested let me know.

Looks like I'll need 4x Assembly Robot, 4x Spaceship Engine, 4x Laser Level, 4x Robot Tester for my fuel station I already bought.

And I still need 4xDispatcher Console & 3xVideo Wall for Mission Control.

For some reason cant get 3greens for loging in facebook. With twitter ive just clicked show me and logged in, but for facebook clicking it and nothing happens. Any way arround ?

Yep, same here. Just created a new email, twitter and facebook account for this and got 7 cash. Not bad!

For the record I can gift the new video walls and the assembly robots. I can also send computers and server racks. Send me and PM here or add me as a neighbor. I try to send items that are specified in the neighbor name.

In the process of getting a fuel station and have a mission control center. Need 3 dispatcher console, 1 server rack, and 3 video Walls to finish the building.

Where can you build training center and alien legacy? anyone else see that items required to complete the collections can be obtained by these buildings as well but i see no option to build them. i can gift spaceship engine if you need.

I don't believe we can build the training center yet. If this is similar to the Facebook Airport City, this should be the reward when this mission is completed. Thus, I guess we'll have to keep flying to complete the collections for now.

Count me in on the Space Race...can gift Video Wall and Laser Level.

I can gift the video wall and laser level.

I have not yet begun constructing any of the space buildings because I am still trying to free up enough space on the airport side of my city. However, I am already trying to collect the items needed for construction.

I need 4 each of the robot tester and spaceship engine (for the cosmic fuel station) and 4 each of the computer, server rack and writing table (for the mission control center).

thanks for all the items, I only have no robot tester. I can give laser level, I have finished the launch pad and mission control center. Hope we can nail this challenge quickly, although I never completed the running wild collection yet, I hope they increased the drop rates now.

I just got my first collection and I got a box with an item needed for space launches. I got an extra stabilisor. So no training center. Or is that a building we already have? Like the sportsbar or sport store?

the training centre is a reward for the first launching. I found that info an the Facebook page of the Facebook app of the game. greetings Skyhigh.
PS: still connection error when starting the program. already informed GIS. hope the can fix the problem.

A stone castle would help to complete running wild collection, but you have to spend some green cash (in case you have it).

I've cleared up some space and built all necessary buildings and had sufficient items to complete Mission Control.

For the Fuel Station I still need these items:
Assembly Robot 3x
Robot Tester 4x

I've added most people in this list to my neighbours to get the quest to a good end!

sorry pal - I was too trigger happy and kicked off one of my own and launched...

ok launched it ... I get 1616 points (or was that how many I had) 6000 coins 600 experience and a gift box...

Reward for finishing the promo is "Training Center" size: 2x2 90 coins per 4 hrs 10mins construction time

And a count down of 24hrs for it to return (I presume)

Tried to see if I could send another one or join another users launch - no such luck - So I think I will have to wait 24 hrs before I can help anyone else - doh!!!

I am think about that if everybody in the same launch receives the same rewards.

what is this joining of each others space program? Is this only possible when someone is ready to launch? And do you all rooted the game? Must otherwise be impossible again to normally get this challenge again?

used time travel to get to this point. my dive device is not rooted.

warning: do not time travel in an active launching program... you get a penalty: you can not activate items for a short time.

How do you join your neighbours space program ? I had 2notifications so launched game, but there was nothing to confirm. Some hidden menu or smth ?

Btw just need 1 more SSEngine, already have 3collections.

Whoops I guess I just scanned it, thinking it was general announcement type... my bad.

@Sonny Boy & Wizzbane - I just clicked my Launch Tower and there was 1 person who had already started launch prep, option to "start" your own launch or choose a person from the list (list of 1 lol) then "join".

Yes sir! Once you have those collections, it'll look like I described when you click the launch tower.
